On Monday, April 2nd, members of the politi-punk collective, Pussy Riot rounded off a weekend song Los Angeles performances pussy the Echoplex.

The final show included openers Bebe Huxley and Dorian Electra, supporting an overall sex-positive, pussy theme for the evening. Part performance art, part feminist political demonstration, the event was less a music show, techno more about sharing messages through art and music to protest transmisogyny, sexism, homophobia and racism.

Her styles ranged from ballads to club tunes, in a sexy, subversive way — imbuing power back into the artist subject in protest of the sex symbol objectification of female pop artists.
